The TOFT jungle project Olympia -Spring Knitting and Stitching Show

Well there it is and a fantastic effort from all involved. This project in aid of the Birminham Children's Hospital is now officially open and according to the reports coming back from the Show it's a big hit.  Any visitors can join in and add to this wonderful environment over the next few days. Swing on down to the TOFT jungle one and all. Congratulations to Kerry and all the Tofties who made this happen. Enjoy!!!

What are these bad boys looking at...

The TOFT trade stand at Olympia for the Spring Knitting and Stitching show this weekend. All the ladies of TOFT are there until Sunday manning not only the TOFT trade stand but also hosting crochet lessons in the jungle. Yes the jungle...a TOFT project in support of the Birmingham Children's Hospital which has been created by Kerry and her posse alongside all the dedicated volunteers at TOFT over the past eight Sundays. Well done one and all for a monumental effort!

These bad boys are obviously impressed and I'm not surprised. The jungle is huge, very green, extremely impressive. It is adorned with miles and miles of crocheted vines and more monkeys than you can shake a stick at. Visitors can sit in it and add to their environment over the next four days. Interactive crochet???? Have fun ladies I'm sure the jungle will be a real wow. Meanwhile the rest of the. TOFT alpaca experience will obe up in Telford with the TOFT Alpaca show team. Never a dull day at TOFT ...'twas ever thus!!! Perfick!

Shirley at Olympia with the British Alpaca Society at the Farm Innovation Show...

5 am the girl set off this morning with the trailer for Olympia where she is busy promoting Alpacas at the Farm Innovation Show for the next two days on behalf of the British Alpaca Society along with Gary Sanders of Popham Alpacas.

The girl will be tired tonight as she will have talked herself to a standstill today about our emerging industry and she had a lecture to deliver. 

This girl doesn't do ' Sparrowfart' easily so she was huffing and chuffing in the dark this morning as we were loading the alpacas and she will have run on adrenalin most of today.  The stand looks great. Apparently there has been a lot of interest throughout the day but I  hope they let her get to bed early the night or there won't be a lot left of her coming backup the M1 tomorrow!
