TOFT TIMOGEN has a new extended family

Shirley and I are delighted to announce that, after much interest being expressed ,we have now agreed to share ownership of our Champion Brown Male TOFT TIMOGEN with Mark and Sue Steele of Patou Alpacas, Ron and Linda Mackintosh of Redens Alpacas and Tracy and Tim Hey of Inca Alpacas. We thank them for their confidence in investing in our hard work and look forward to working closely with them to develop the future career of this stunning young male. 

This is very much a first for TOFT after breeding alpacas for 18 years but we are very excited to be embarking on this next stage of our alpaca adventure in working with discerning breeders to get our elite genetics creating as much fine fibre as possible to satisfy the ever increasing demand for luxury UK Alpaca Fibre.

TOFT Timogen will work close to home this season with his new owners and will be available for service next season- book early to avoid disappointment.

TOFT TIMOGEN is a fourth generation male  out of our Champion female TOFT NASHIRA ( daughter of BARRBINDA FLINDERS STAR ) and our other co-owned male LAVENDER PARK TULLEY currently resident at TOFT and available for service.

TOFT Ikrit is now safe and sound at Alpacamundo and looking for female company ...

In one end and out the other, almost as easy as posting a letter. 24 hrs after his departure from TOFT on Friday evening our Prizewinning Stud Male TOFT Ikrit arrived in the safe hands of his new owners in Holland on Saturday evening. Today he'll be out in his paddock eyeing up the Dutch talent.

Toft Ikrit finds a new harem in Holland

Toft Ikrit our prizewinning Light Brown Stud Male left us last night in the cold and dark to travel to Holland where he will  standing on the Alpacamundo Stud owned by Anniek Van Djk and Auke Wesselink. Toft Ikrit is a fine upstanding example of the Toft Jaina bloodline resulting in a beautifully conformed male with a very fine consistent fleece. With a solid medium brown father and a solid black mother I think we can safely say Toft Ikrit will add some quality colours to the Alpacamundo herd. We wish him and his new owners well and trust Toft Ikrit will soon learn the language,cosy up to the Dutch ladies,  and put some very impressive cria on the ground in years to come.

Rastabans a man

Toft Rastaban our champion brown male has become a man and started working last week. He took to his new duties as if born to the job living up to his newly acquired status of alpaca stud male at his first sitting. Having ten females to service at Toft will get him proven next year. 

This season he will work  for clients at a discounted rate until his progeny prove themselves next season but if he produces the way we think he will then this year will be the last of the discounted matings. So if you haven't yet sorted the suitors for your girls please get in touch.
