I think one has to build a hide and get sneaky with a telephoto lens to get a good picture of the alpacas where they are not looking at you. This bunch of elite cria don't let a feather blow by without investigation. There again it's their awareness, memory and curiosity that makes them so charming. I can wait for the hide....
